In 2013, The Excel Center expanded nationally and launched the national office. Today, there are over 45 Excel Center locations across the United States.

Meet Our National Office Team
Jaylyn Brown | Director, Research & Evaluation
Jaylyn works with national partners to assess the aptitude for opening The Excel Center campuses in new territories. She oversees policy analysis and research while also monitoring the performance of open schools throughout the network.
Katie Bustamante | Vice President
Katie provides consultation and support to national partners planning, opening and operating The Excel Center. She leads the network in professional engagement, model fidelity and education best practices.
Betsy Delgado | Senior Vice President & Chief Mission and Education Officer
Betsy leads the expansion of The Excel Center into new areas and the operation of the school model in collaboration with network leaders. She also oversees the building of rigorous evidence of effectiveness in partnership with the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunity at Notre Dame University.
Mike Gallo | School Development Director
Mike is responsible for working with new schools and their staff as they prepare to open. He offers extensive training in The Excel Center core model elements. Mike also conducts regular check-ins and visits once schools have opened to ensure that they are well-supported and implementing best practices.
Kent Kramer | President & CEO
Kent supports the expansion of The Excel Center model into new Goodwill territories, collaborates with network leaders across the country and works with lobbyists on identifying opportunities for Goodwill to join the national conversation around high schools for adults.
Khalilah Palmer | Regional Director
Khalilah provides consultation and support to national partners opening and operating The Excel Center. Khalilah actively manages relationships with school directors and staff to ensure that all curricular, instructional and model element materials are developed and deployed to assigned schools.
Sarah Thomas | Senior Director
Sarah oversees the national office team and provides support to national partners around engaging local leaders, community development and fundraising for The Excel Center. She is responsible for engaging new partners intersted in opening schools in new areas of the country.
Danielle White | School Development Director
Danielle supports the comprehensive development and continuous improvement of The Excel Center schools. Danielle works to develop relationships with school directors to ensure the fidelity of implementation and on-going support of The Excel Center model.
Kenzie Engel | Policy, Research & Advocacy Manager
Kenzie works with national partners to provide the information they need to make decisions related to opening and sustaining The Excel Center schools across the country. She works to assess the feasibility of opening new school locations and supports national partners on potential legislation needed to support the expansion of The Excel Center schools.
